Wawa breaks ground on first NC store

Wawa broke ground last Friday on its first planned location in North Carolina. The store, at 1900 N. Croatan Highway in Kill Devil Hills in the Outer Banks, is expected to open next year. Wawa also has plans for stores in Wilmington and Elizabeth City, NC, but no timetable has been set.
