Stuart shares more than two decades of retail real estate experience with clients and colleagues at Equity Retail Brokers. He specializes in Investment Sales with a focus on net lease investments and shopping centers, in addition to corporate dispositions. Stuart has represented local, regional and national retailers and property owners, from individual families to national corporations, as well as one of the largest corporate special servicers in the United States managing distressed and non-performing loans and real estate owned (REO).
Stuart has negotiated numerous acquisition, sale and lease transactions for retail space in anchor department stores, regional malls, power/strip shopping centers, street retail and freestanding properties, as well as land acquisition. A sampling of his clients has included: CW Capital, SuperValu, Costco, La-Z-Boy, Ethan Allen, Burlington Coat Factory, Hancock Fabrics, Avenue, Footaction, PayHalf, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

Prior to joining Equity Retail Brokers, Stuart provided real estate consulting services for national and local retailers. He was previously Senior Vice President of Real Estate and a member of the Board of Directors of Conston Corp. At Conston Corp, Stuart was responsible for the addition of over 200 new stores in aggregate excess of 750,000 sq ft.
for the 16 PLUS and CHARLES women’s apparel stores, encompassing more than 60 new markets in over 20 states. Conston Corp., previously a $190 million publicly-held women’s apparel retailer, operated more than 300 stores in 28 states.
Stuart is a graduate of Northwestern University. He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and his M.B.A. from the Temple University Fox School of Business. Stuart is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition to his professional affiliations, he is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
