Walmart and DoorDash part ways as Walmart expands its own delivery service

The relationship between Walmart and DoorDash will come to an end next month based on reports that the delivery service gave Walmart a 30-day notice. The companies have been working together since 2018.

Walmart has been actively building up Spark, it’s own delivery service currently available in more than 600 cities. And last summer the company launched Walmart GoLocal, a white-label delivery service for businesses looking to offer local delivery to their customers.

DoorDash still has several grocery partners, including Albertsons, Meijer and Hi-Vee, among others.
