Trader Joe’s and Lidl opening new South Jersey stores

Trader Joe’s and Lidl opening new South Jersey stores

Nearly two years after the Cherry Hill, NJ planning board approved plans for a 14,770 square foot retail building at Towne Place at Garden State Park, which sent rumors flying about Trader Joe’s, a company spokesperson stated that a Trader Joe’s store is planning to open in Cherry Hill, most likely in the spring.

Currently the Marlton store is the only one of 17 New Jersey Trader Joe’s locations in South Jersey.

Meanwhile, Lidl plans to open in Cherry Hill next week. The store will be located at 400 Route 38, adjacent to Wawa and Walmart-anchored Cherry Hill Commons. The store will be Lidl’s eighth New Jersey location.
