Lat week Target reported that comparable year-on-year store grocery sales for June were up in the mid-teens. A couple months ago, the mega-retailer reported comparable grocery sales for April increased by 30%. As for overall store sales in June, the increase was 4.5%.
In the Northeast, comparable store sales in June were “positive but softer than average.”
