Wegmans was recently named the top supermarket in the U.S. by the American Customer Satisfaction Index for the second consecutive year. Here is the list along with the scores.

Wegmans – (86)
Trader Joe’s – (83)
H-E-B – (82)
Publix – (82)
Aldi – (81)
Hy-Vee – (78)
Kroger – (76)
Delhaize (Food Lion / Hannaford) – (76)
ShopRite – (75)
Meijer – (74)
Bi-Lo – (74)
Whole Foods – (73)
Supervalu – (71)
Target – (71)
A&P – (70)
Ahold (Giant) – (70)
Albertsons (Acme) – (68)
Giant Eagle – (67)
Walmart – (67)

It’s interesting to note that the controversial year for Whole Foods cost them dearly in this report, as their score dropped 10 points from the previous year. Target’s score dropped 12 points.

Wegmans, which was also named America’s best supermarket by Consumer Reports, had the only year over year gain.
