Earlier this week developers of a proposed residential and retail center in Lower Macungie Township shared their plans with the township’s Planning Commission. Remington Property Corp. plans to build apartments, a 75,000 square foot Weis supermarket, a gas station and two restaurants at the corner of Route 100 and Gehman Road.
Weis is currently located on Route 100 but would relocate into the development.
