New Weis Market approved for Lower Macungie, PA

New Weis Market approved for Lower Macungie, PA

David Goodman | Feb 20, 2015 |

Last week the Lower Macungie (PA) Township planning commission recommended that the project featuring a new Weis supermarket along with 204 apartments and a gas station be approved. The proposed mixed-use project, known as Grandview Crossings, is planned for the Allen Organ property on Route 100.

The township’s board of supervisors will vote on final approval in the coming weeks.

The existing Weis market located across the street will close once the new store is ready, and the Grandview Crossings developers have proposed that it be repurposed to include both retail and office space.
