Giant supermarket’s renovation plans continue to forge ahead, with the latest announcement stating that the Bensalem store on Street Road in Bucks County will get a Starbucks in addition to other updates. According to the store manager, new modernized decor will be added, along with a consultation room for the pharmacy.

“The store’s fresh offerings will be completely updated with an expanded farm fresh product department, all new floral, meat, seafood and bakery departments, and enhanced prepared food offerings,” said Giant spokeswoman Ashley Flower.

Giant supermarkets in Horsham, Langhorne, Morrisville, Warminster and Willow Grove are also slated for renovation.

Giant added that its 124,000 square foot fulfillment center is expected to open later this year. It will provide home delivery for 15,000 shoppers per week in some Philadelphia neighborhoods.
