Currently customers can access Instant Delivery through the Giants and Martins sites on Instacart’s online marketplace, but plans call for the service to be available soon via Giant’s and Martin’s websites.
The Giant Company is owned by Ahold Delhaize USA and operates 190 stores and more than 150 online pickup hubs in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. The grocer provides online grocery ordering and pickup/delivery service to 90% of its retail footprint. The company says it will reach even more households shortly with the opening later this year of a new Giant Direct e-commerce fulfillment center in Philadelphia.
