Angelo Gordon Supermarkets, which operates the Kings Food Markets and Balducci’s banners in the Northeast, has begun the process of switching from White Rose to Wakefern, according to published reports. Associated Wholesalers, Inc. (AWI), White Rose’s parent company, filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy last month and is expected to be sold at auction to C&S Wholesale Grocers.
