ShopRite reopens in Mount Laurel as Trader Joe’s opens second Philly store

Following an eight-month, $10 million renovation, ShopRite celebrated the grand reopening of its store in Mount Laurel’s East Gate Square last week. The expanded store has new lighting, ovens and flooring, as well as a sushi station, cheese area, sandwich station and salad bar.

Trader Joe’s opened last week as well. The company’s second Center City Philadelphia store debuted at 1324 Arch Street. In addition to the Philadelphia stores, Trader Joe’s has Pennsylvania locations in Ardmore, Media, Jenkintown and North Wales.
