Giant’s third Heirloom Market in Philadelphia is scheduled to open in a couple weeks in Northern Liberties, and according to the company it will feature an in-store taproom with craft beers and wine.
The taproom, called the Underground, will offer customers samples or a full pour, and will include shuffleboard, arcade games, a Scrabble wall and free Wifi.
A fourth Heirloom Market location is planned for Queen Village next year.
Parent company Giant Food Stores was recently named 2019 Retailer of the Year by Supermarket News. The publication cited Giant’s online grocery delivery, its robot “Marty,” and the Heirloom Market stores.
