New York ICSC show had a positive vibe

The link below is an article by Larry Lichtenauer about the New York ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) event held earlier this week. There were approximately 6200 real estate professionals in attendance, including brokers, retailers, REITS, etc. The atmosphere was definitely more positive this year than last.

How do I know? That’s because people were working, not complaining. They were drinking and laughing, not crying. And many were taking in shows and extending their trip, not zipping in and out of town while keeping their wallets in their pockets.

Even Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stopped by. (Okay, she was there for the premier of her new movie at the Ziegfield Theater next door, but she was within steps of our meeting at the Hilton.)
