Giant Delivers: revamped delivery platform in Mid-Atlantic

Earlier this month Giant Food of Landover announced the launch of Giant Delivers, a revamped version of its online delivery program formerly known as Peapod. The brand refresh is part of Giant’s “The Little Things are Giant” platform. Giant Food of Landover operates 163 supermarkets in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington DC.

According to the company, Giant Delivers trucks starting appearing in mid-October, and Peapod and Giant Delivers will transition to an integrated experience later this year.

Giant’s grocery delivery services is now available without commitment or subscription, and customers have the option to sign up for unlimited deliveries for a one-time $99 annual fee. In addition, Giant Pickup is currently available at 65 stores. Customers of those stores can order online and pick up their groceries in as little as four hours without leaving their cars. The service is expected to gradually expand to other Giant Food of Landover stores.
