Whenever my friends and neighbors talk to me about vacant supermarkets, they inevitably ask if there’s a chance for a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s. So, a story from the Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plains caught my eye. Although I don’t know the details, it’s clear that there is strong opposition to Whole Foods.
