Conshohocken, PA, September 14, 2015 – Ken McEvoy, Stuart Conston and Edward Ginn of Equity Retail Brokers recently represented the seller of a net leased Walgreens in Bucks County, PA. The 14,820-square-foot building is located on 1.39 acres in a densely populated area at the corner of New Falls Road and Levittown Pkwy/S Oxford Valley Road.
After receiving a significant number of qualified inquiries, the Walgreens went under agreement to a qualified 1031 exchange buyer within three weeks of listing the property.
Walgreens is the largest drugstore chain in the U.S., with more than 8,200 stores in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The company had fiscal 2014 sales of more than $76 billion.
Today, Walgreens is taking its products and services to the four corners of the world as part of the Retail Pharmacy USA division of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc., the first global pharmacy-led, health and wellbeing enterprise in the world. Walgreens Boots Alliance was created through the combination of Walgreens and Alliance Boots in December 2014.
